My lonely friend, why have you left me? I stood around all day trying to conjure your devilish features but an angel stood in my way. He sat giggling, firmly demanding my heart. The cherub of my life is more than welcome but no equal. I am lower than him, depraved and cruel. Ascending and descending my ladder in a mad pace; I find it hard to keep up with our joined life. It’s always in a distance do I see someone who might join me on more levels. God how I wish to fold the world like paper to bring us all closer. But for now… I will pine for you and be alone. |

Emo open prose poetry...
I wasn't sure exactly what this was about when I wrote it, but it's title will be "Unwrapping" because I'm unwrapping this feeling I have. I miss the vision - my friend, why can I not see him? My reality stands in my way but it is a happy reality. Why do I miss him? Because things are hard, I am unusual, and what I truly miss is someone to connect with - real friends I fear who are too far away. So I will continue to miss my vision - my friend. I miss him keeping me company. |
